PowerSchool Overview

PowerSchool Logo

We want to empower our families by connecting them to important information about their child and their learning. District 65 uses a secure, web-based system called PowerSchool which parents/guardians can access through its Parent Portal.

This system contains real-time access to student information provided at the time of registration and also has student schedules, attendance information, student grades and assignments, health information and more!

Student report cards and progress reports are also available via PowerSchool.

PowerSchool FAQs

Standards Based Grading Videos for Middle School

In the videos below, parents/guardians will learn how to navigate PowerSchool from the guardian view using our new setup for standards based learning and grading for students in middle school. We will explore the "Grades & Attendance" tab and the "Standards Grades" tab within the portal.

Please note that the web version provides more detailed information about student assignment progress for our Standards Based Learning and Grading set-up in middle school. If you are using the mobile app, you will not be able to view your student's progress on domains or learning targets attached to assignments. We recommend using the web version for a more comprehensive view of your student's progress.
