I am honored to be the Interim Principal at Dawes Elementary. I have worked in District #65 for over 13 years, beginning as a school social Worker and gradually advancing to administration. I have always been committed to empowering school communities through creating supportive and inclusive environments, building healthy relationships between educators, students, and families, and the development of engaging curriculums.
I’m excited to act as the Interim Assistant Principal at Dawes Elementary School. I worked as a CPS Spanish Teacher, World Language Department Chair and Dual Language Coordinator at Roosevelt High School for 15 years. Throughout my various roles, my goal has been to develop a strong sense of connection to the process of fostering meaningful relationships with parents and teachers in order to support the overall success and well-being of students. As an educator, my goal is to create a school community that focuses on the needs of the students and values equity, diversity and the academic success of all students.
