At Dawes we currently have about 365 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The majority of our students live in the neighborhood immediately surrounding the school and represent a wide range of cultural backgrounds and family structures.
Students' academic needs are met through a variety of programs including general education, special education and dual language, complemented by fine arts, physical education, use of the school library, computer lab and garden, and a wide range of afterschool programming.
At Dawes you will find a strong sense of community, enthusiastic students, dedicated teachers and staff with a wide range of experience levels, and parents who are committed to contributing to and supporting the efforts of the school.
